According to Jackie Gray, who owns Taz with Jason Olson and their two daughters, her mother rescued the cat as a kitten more than four years ago.

Gray said Taz earned her name from the Tasmanian Devil.

“He was a little devil when he was a kitten,” said Gray.

The male cat loved his “little girl” Addyson when she came home from the hospital and since, they have “been inseparable.”

“Now, Addyson has a little sister (Hayden) and he is testing the waters with her. Taz will allow Hayden to pull his ears and tail and sometimes let her flop on top of him,” said Gray. “When he has had enough, he just gets up and walks away. At night, if he is not out, he is curled up on the couch until he sees Addy head to bed and he follows her right in. Taz loves the girls - he is a very special cat with a great personality.”
