Next Hamden Game Day is Monday, Sept. 18, at 10 a.m. at the Hamden Town Hall. Everyone is welcome to come and play a game or two. We have pinochle, bridge, rummy, phase ten, and other options. Whoever is there determines which games are played. Snacks are provided so you can stay as long or as little as you want to enjoy a good game or two and the fun banter that happens amongst the players. Game Day meets every first and third Monday of the month at the Hamden Town Hall at 10 a.m.

For those who enjoy playing games and meeting new people as well as seeing old friends, another game day opportunity is in Walton every Wednesday at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Walton Presbyterian Church on the corner of North and East streets. Bring a sandwich or something for the microwave for lunch. Cake, etc., is provided. Betty Pinney, Elfie Anschlowar, Charlie and Marion Calhoun, Minnie Miller and Julian Wilcox from Hamden are part of the Our Place group that plays games at the Presbyterian Church. Contact any one of them for more information and for a ride if needed.

Church services for the Hamden, DeLancey and West Delhi churches for Sunday, Sept. 17, will be held in the Hamden Church at 11 a.m. Patty Wolff will be leading the service.

There will be a Covenant Cabinet meeting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26 at the Hamden Church. Plan to attend if you are on the Cabinet.
