Each year the district identifies the rooms and areas that most need a touch up or to be repainted. This “wish list” is often longer than the amount of time that summer painters Rosie Green, Melissa Riddell and Carl Whittaker can accomplish alone.

For the second year, Frank Ward has volunteered his time to paint areas that may otherwise have been delayed for another year. He has painted the front reception area of the high school, and the Townsend School auditorium, as well as several classrooms and bathrooms. He has also repaired some walls in rooms that were being refurbished for new staff or classrooms.

All school employees are grateful to the painters and all the custodial staff that work hard all summer and throughout the year to keep the buildings looking beautiful and staying safe.
