Rosie Cunningham/The Reporter DELHI - A one car motor vehicle accident took place on county Highway Route 28 just outside of Delhi towards the town of Meredith Monday.

No injuries were sustained in the accident, which involved a lone driver who was traveling towards the village of Delhi.

Delhi Firefighter James “Bucky” Barlow said the passenger vehicle simply drifted off of the road. An ambulance was not needed on the scene and significant damage was done to the car. Barlow added that he is unsure of the circumstances of the accident and that Delhi was the only department which responded to the scene.

“He was restrained and because of that, he is uninjured,” said Barlow.
