Here on the Farm the fellas have been busy getting some grass chopped with the sunshine and better weather, until yesterday when the chopper broke down with just a little chopping left. Harold and I checked the fields where the corn has not been planted yet and found them pretty good. There are still some wet spots but he decided it was time to get the corn in the ground, so he picked the planter up and went past the wet areas. So far, it is working out OK. The fellas took the chopper apart and found the trouble. It will put them behind for a few days. We heard that lots of grass was cut this week and we hope farmers were able to get it chopped or dry baled or wrapped with no trouble. Hope the weather holds up for farmers so they can get their crops in soon. As always, keep all farmers in your thoughts.
