The next Game Day is Monday, June 19, at 10 a.m. at the Hamden Town Hall. People from Hamden, Delhi, DeLancey, Walton and other areas are most welcome to come and play games with new and old friends and neighbors. You can count on at least one pinochle game along with hand and foot or phase ten. Bridge could be an option with a few more players. Game Day is held each first and third Monday of the month, so if you can’t make this one, we’d love to have you at another one. We have the games, and whoever is there that day determines which games are played. Snacks and beverages are provided.

Church services for the Hamden, DeLancey and West Delhi churches for Sunday, June 18, will be held in the Hamden Church at 11 a.m. Rev. Patty Wolff will be leading the service. There will be a special coffee hour after the service.

SUNY Delhi is offering swimming lessons this summer. Hamden children can sign up at the town hall with the clerk and go for a three week class for $15. The first session is from June 26 until July 14 (No swimming on July 4) and the second session is from July 17 to August 4. Levels of lessons go from infant/toddler to swim team. Cutoff date for registration from session one is June 23.

There will be a rabies clinic at the Masonville Fire Hall on June 22 from 5-7 p.m. If your animal has already had a one year rabies shot, bring the certificate to get a three year vaccine. Remember that dogs must be kept on a leash and that cats and ferrets must be kept in crates.

Happy Father’s Day to all dads.
