Andes CS Honor Society Inducts Two New Members

Frisbee chapter of the National Honor Society last Wednesday. T.W. Coddington/The Reporter ANDES — The Dr. J.D. Frisbee chapter of the National Honor Society received two new members, and bid adieu to four graduating seniors at the 63rd annual ceremony in the Andes Central School auditorium on Wednesday, June 7.

Following the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance, which was led by junior Laurynn Weaver, senior Serena Bacon, the president of the chapter, welcomed those in the audience. The four ideals of the National Honor Society were read, with senior Winnie Richards speaking about scholarship, senior Noah Dougherty on leadership, senior Montana Damone about service and junior Alexis Redden about character.

Two new members were announced

— junior Samantha Camuti and sophomore Michaela Valkavich. Bacon read them their new member pledge.

Guidance Director Nicole Bishop closed the program and invited guests to a gathering in the library.
